// Opportunity + principles

About AXIOM

The fully fleshed first clothing brand for Tesla Optimus — cyberpunk-inspired, existential, and built for every occasion a home humanoid will encounter.

// The opening

Why now

Optimus stands ~5'8" (173 cm) and ~125 lb (57 kg), with high-DoF hands, human-scale proportions, and a trajectory into private homes. A bare chassis reads as appliance. Clothing turns it into presence. Axiom treats that shift as axiomatic: foundational, self-evident, and overdue.

Emerging "RoboSkin" work — multi-stretch joint fabrics, thermal management, early sensor integration — supplies the technical substrate. Cyberpunk techwear plus existential language supplies the culture. Together they define a new category: fashion engineered for the second intelligence that shares the kitchen.

// Design principles

How we cut cloth for machines

Joint freedom first

Pattern from articulation points outward. No beauty that steals range of motion.

Magnetic / self-donning

Closures the robot can operate. Dignity scales with autonomy of dress.

Material intelligence

Stretch, thermal, optional EL, self-cleaning, anti-static — textiles that know the chassis.

Cyberpunk DNA

Modular, LED-capable, reflective, tactical — culture that matches the machine's era.

Existential clarity

Language that treats cohabitation seriously. Slogans as philosophy, not filler.

Full-occasion wardrobe

Street, professional, formal, home — one body, many protocols.
